Alley continues Broadworks bid

Pat Alley, the former managing director of Advanced Environmental Solutions (AES), is continuing his efforts to buy a stake in cable firm Broadworks.

Alley started due diligence on the firm last month and has just been granted an extra 60 days exclusivity to negotiate a deal. If a deal is completed, Alley is likely to become chief executive of Broadworks, which installs cable TV, phone and internet services.
