As Irish fans at home and in Poland prepare for Ireland to kick off their Euro 2012 campaign against Croatia today, Uefa has frustrated some supporters by blocking plans to show group matches at Shamrock Rovers' Tallaght Stadium.

European soccer's governing body refused permission for the screenings, which were the brainchild of events manager, club promoter and Rovers fan Buzz O'Neill. He planned to sell tickets for €16.50 to screenings at the stadium, which is owned...
