Alfa Romeo sets course for return to form

Alfa Romeo hopes that an updated model range and a new man overseeing proceedings in Ireland will see the brand rise to prominence once again, writes dave Humphreys.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta sits well on the road, and is one of the better-looking cars in a densely populated segment of the market.

Alfa Romeo has long been a familiar name in Irish households, but in recent times the Italian firm's popularity has been on the wane. According to Simi (Society of the Irish Motor Industry) figures, up until the end of September of this year, Alfa has managed to register only 13 cars in Ireland.
