The fast-expanding German discount supermarket chain Aldi is to create 160 jobs in Cork at a new distribution centre.
The development brings to 460 the number of new jobs Aldi will create in Ireland over the next three years, with 20 new outlets set to open in Ireland, resulting in 300 jobs.
Giles Hurley, Managing Director of Aldi Stores Ireland’s Mitchelstown Region, said the 160 jobs were skilled positions across management, administration, warehousing and logistics.
