Back in 2003, The Soul Sessions made Joss Stone one of the world's richest teenagers overnight. It wasn't much cop, though, and its belated sequel isn't any more convincing. Stone gives it lots of welly, as usual, which is part of the problem: her 25-going-on-65 vocal style sounds deeply contrived and forced (check out the Janis Joplin-like howl at the start of Give More Power To The People)....
