It has been seven years since Swedish duo The Knife released an album (2006's Silent Shout), so Shaking The Habitual is the pair's first real high pressure record, and it emphatically delivers. Sideswipes at the politics of the rich are delivered in heavily distorted lyrics, while their skittish sound morphs its way through African rhythms and heavy beats.
