Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Hypnotic Eye (Warner)
It’s a case of lucky 13th album for Tom Petty. Described by Petty himself as a “straight hard-rockin’ record, from beginning to end”, Hypnotic Eye is a return to the rootsy rock n’ roll of his first two 1970s albums, and far from the mid-career renaissance of the countrified Full Moon Fever and break-out hit Free Falling.
