Foals: the entire second half of their new album contains nothing interesting.

Maybe it's just because of the sombrely grey time of year, but there's a noticeable glut of this stuff around at the moment: this spindly, clear-as-a-bell, electronica-infused, up-tempo English art rock. Hot on the heels of the Everything Everything and Delphic albums - the first deeply impressive, the latter reasonable - comes Foals' similarly translucent-sounding third effort.
