Ryanair has formed a partnership with digital advertising company Amscreen in a deal it said was personally agreed between high-profile businessmen Alan Sugar and Ryanair's Michael O'Leary.

The deal sees the airline become the first global partner of Sugar's Amscreen, which currently has 5,000 digital media screens reaching 50 million adults across Europe each week.

First to run will be ads promoting Ryanair's low-price messaging on screens close to the airline's airports in Britain, Germany and Poland.
