Airport retailers demand rent reductions due to volcano chaos

The operators of shops and restaurants at Dublin Airport are demanding rent reductions from the Dublin Airport Authority because their revenues have been hit by the flight bans caused by the volcanic ash cloud.

The operators of shops and restaurants at Dublin Airport are demanding rent reductions from the Dublin Airport Authority because their revenues have been hit by the flight bans caused by the volcanic ash cloud.

A spokeswoman for the DAA confirmed that it had met or been in contact with a number of retailers and concession operators about a rent reduction.
