Airlines cannot yet change website booking procedures

Ryanair and Aer Lingus have told the Office of Fair Trading in Britain that they cannot change their website booking process to reflect the full price of tickets because of technical issues.

Ryanair and Aer Lingus have told the Office of Fair Trading in Britain that they cannot change their website booking process to reflect the full price of tickets because of technical issues.

The OFT ordered 13 airlines to change their websites and advertising so that passengers would know from the beginning exactly how much their flights cost.

The OFT was concerned that passengers only discovered the full cost of flights when they came to the end...
