Unpaid leave, pay cuts and a reduction in variable pay rates will be on the agenda at Aer Lingus this week, as talks continue on cost savings at the airline.

Unions at the airline hope to ballot their members on the alternatives to redundancy before Christmas, as Aer Lingus is seeking to reduce its cost base by €100 million next year.
