Air race set for Cashel

More than 60,000 people are expected in Cashel, Co Tipperary, next Sunday for the 2005 Red Bull Air Race.

A 500-metre temporary runway, nine plane hangers and an air traffic control tower have been built for the event.

Some of the world's top acrobatic pilots will fly at speeds of up to 400 kilometres per hour in the race, which will televised by TV3.
