Air France earnings gain in Q2

Air France KLM posted operating profit of €238 million for the second quarter — up 154 million from the same period a year earlier.

Air France KLM posted operating profit of €238 million for the second quarter — up 154 million from the same period a year earlier.

Europe’s largest airline reiterated guidance given at the beginning of July for gross earnings of €2.2 to 2.3 billion for 2014 and €4.5 billion in 2015.

Second quarter revenues of €6.45 billion were up 1.7 per cent, with passenger unit revenue up 1.3 per cent at constant currency due to strict capacity discipline,...
