AIB chairman David Hodgkinson has been mentioned in a US Senate report into money laundering at HSBC bank.

A comment from an email Hodgkinson wrote when he was HSBC’s Middle East deputy chairman was quoted but AIB has said that it has no concerns over the report and Hodgkinson was not a person of interest in the inquiry.

HSBC was in front of a US Senate hearing because of allegations its anti-money laundering...
