The repayment of a €1 billion bond by AIB to unsecured bondholders tomorrow has been severely criticised by the campaign group Bondwatch.

Based in Ballyhea, Co Cork, the group provides an online tracking system for the amount of bonds repaid by Irish financial institutions to date and flags further ones which fall due.
