AIB has made loans of over stg£18 million (€26 million) to the British Conversative Party, according to figures released by the electoral commission last week.

AIB has made loans of over stg£18 million (€26 million) to the British Conversative Party, according to figures released by the electoral commission last week.

The bank is by far the largest lender to the Tories, having made two separate loans so far this year, one of which is due to be repaid by the end of December.
