AIB is hosting and supporting local events around Ireland as the bank ramps up its campaign to let customers know it is open for business.

John O'Doherty, regional director for AIB Cork Central, said the bank's local branches are using the events to attract interest from local SME communities all over the country.

The aim is to provide access to local businesses and to let those businesses know that support is available.
