Agent sees city rents rising 7% by 2014

Residential rents will continue to rise in the main cities in the years ahead and could go up as much as 7% by 2014, according to property consultants Savills Ireland.

Residential rents will continue to rise in the main cities in the years ahead and could go up as much as 7% by 2014, according to property consultants Savills Ireland.

Rents have dropped by 25 per cent from the peak in 2008, but they have begun to rise again and this pattern is set to continue, Savills said.
