Having secured Pat Kenny's services for big money, the onus is now firmly on Newstalk to make the switch work in its favour, writes Siobhán Brett.

Pat Kenny described himself as "shell-shocked" last week after it was made public that he was leaving RTE for Newstalk. He bit his bottom lip a couple of times as he confirmed the move in a video interview with Newstalk's Chris Donoghue, and later likened the uncertainty that lay ahead of him to online dating.
