The Toyota Corolla is fast approaching 40, but may finally be having its name changed.

The Toyota Corolla is fast approaching 40, but may finally be having its name changed.

The car first appeared in Japan in October 1966. Over the years, sales have exceeded 31.6 million units.

However, it now seems that the next model, due to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, will no longer be called Corolla - at least not in Europe.
