Aero Kilcullen in major bid for Czech airport
Entrepreneur Enda O’Coineen is leading a consortium bidding for a Czech airport and jet aircraft manufacturer.
His investment company, Kilcullen Kapital Partners, backed by a number of US aerospace companies, is one of eight consortiums in the running for Aero Vodochody.
‘‘The company has been valued in the range of €250 million to €300 million,” said O’Coineen. ‘‘It owns a large airport just 15 kilometres outside Prague, a vast amount of property, and then there is a manufacturing company with 1,700 employees.”
