Aer Lingus has welcomed a refusal by Britain's Supreme Court to grant Ryanair leave to appeal against a recent judgement by the Court of Appeal.
The judgement in question had found that the Office of Fair Trading was “in time” to investigate Ryanair’s minority shareholding in Aer Lingus under merger control legislation.
