Aer Lingus revenues rise but warm weather hits bookings

Aer Lingus has reported 5 per cent revenue growth to €657.9 million in the first half of 2013, following “particularly strong” long haul performance that saw passenger numbers grow 15.4 per cent.

Aer Lingus recorded a strong second quarter performance with revenues up 6.2 per cent to €398.2 million.

Aer Lingus has reported 5 per cent revenue growth to €657.9 million in the first half of 2013, following “particularly strong” long haul performance that saw passenger numbers grow 15.4 per cent.

The airline recorded a strong second quarter performance with revenues up 6.2 per cent to €398.2 million. Bookings for the second half of 2013, as they stood at the end of June, were ahead of where they were at the same time in 2012....
