UPDATE: The Aer Lingus board has repeated its view that Ryanair's takeover bid undervalues the airline and said shareholders should reject it.
The Aer Lingus board has repeated its view that the Ryanair's takeover bid undervalues the airline and said shareholders should reject it.
In a statement today it said: "The Board’s unanimous view is that Ryanair’s Offer to acquire control of Aer Lingus for €1.30 per share fundamentally undervalues Aer Lingus and represents a significant discount to the intrinsic value of the business."
