Aer Lingus saw total flown passenger numbers rise 3.1 per cent year on year in June, bringing the monthly figure to 1,044,000 passengers.

Aer Lingus saw total flown passenger numbers rise 3.1 per cent year on year in June, bringing the monthly figure to 1,044,000 passengers.

Long haul performed particularly well, rising 17.2 per cent in the month. Yesterday, the airline announced a major expansion of its transatlantic operation, beginning next summer.
