Aer Lingus passenger numbers increase 0.9% in August
Aer Lingus saw its total flown passenger numbers increase by 0.9 per cent to 1,126,000 in August 2013 compared to August 2012.
Aer Lingus saw its total flown passenger numbers increase by 0.9 per cent to 1,126,000 in August 2013 compared to August 2012. The airline said that, as in July, good weather in August had impacted upon short haul figures.
Short haul flown passengers, including Aer Lingus Regional, which is operated by Aer Arann, in August 2013 were 1,005,000, a decrease of 0.8 per cent on August 2012. But long haul flown passengers in August 2013 were 121,000, an increase of 17.5 per cent on August 2012.
