Aer Lingus on target for €85m profit

Aer Lingus is on course to achieve its target of an operating profit of €85million this year, a 17 per cent increase on last year’s performance. The airline made a small profit in April, the first month in 2006 that it had gone into the black. Sources close to the airline indicate that it is on budget for the first half of the year.
