Aer Lingus has shelved ambitious plans for a €500 million redevelopment of its head office at Dublin Airport ahead of its forthcoming initial public offering (IPO).

Aer Lingus has shelved ambitious plans for a €500 million redevelopment of its head office at Dublin Airport ahead of its forthcoming initial public offering (IPO).

The original plan - brought forward by former chief executive Willie Walsh - had envisaged a massive redevelopment of the 13-acre site at the airport incorporating a new headquarters, office, hotel and shopping facilities.
