Aer Lingus cuts profit guidance
UPDATE: Aer Lingus has cut its 2013 operating profit guidance to around €60 million from a previous forecast that said the figure would be broadly in line with last year.
Aer Lingus has cut its 2013 operating profit guidance to around €60 million from a previous forecast that said the figure would be broadly in line with last year's €69.1 million.
Its shares fell 5.7 per cent after the news.
In a statement the airline said its current booking profile suggested it would not be possible to recover lost volumes experienced in July and August as a result of warm weather.
