Aer Lingus confirms talks with Etihad

UPDATE: Aer Lingus has confirmed that the Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad has built up a significant stake of nearly three per cent in the Irish airline.

Aer Lingus is in talks about a commercial link-up with Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad.

It was confirmed today that Etihad Airways had built up a stake of nearly three per cent in the Irish airline. The news sent Aer Lingus shares more than three per cent higher in Dublin trading.
