Christoph Mueller is to step down from his role at Aer Lingus.

Christoph Mueller is to step down as chief executive of Aer Lingus in May 2015, the airline said. The airline's share price was down 0.8 per cent to €1.33 in early trading following the announcement this morning but recovered somewhat and was down 0.3 per cent a short time ago.

Mueller was appointed to the job five years ago in July 2009 as CEO and has served as an executive director since September 2009. He will also step...
