Advertisers will spend €1 million this year specifically targeting the over-50s, according to Brian McCabe, who runs S&L Promotions, a company focused wholly on the so-called ‘‘grey market’’.
A large chunk of this spend is focused on this weekend’s Over 50s Show in Dublin’s RDS, whose projected turnover is €350,000.
