Lunch was tender chicken medallions stuffed with soft cheese and spicy chorizo, all served with pasta and coriander cream.

A wonderful, relaxing meal, overlooking the Newry canal from the first floor of the Canal Court Hotel. There was strawberry mousse for dessert, perfectly light and fluffy.

But that was then. Now, Richard the pilot was doing his best to bring the meal back up all over the dashboard of his aircraft, a few thousand feet...
