Adoption Authority warns HSE on delays

The Adoption Authority has written to the Health Service Executive (HSE) stating that no prospective adopters should be left in limbo due to new legislation.

When the Adoption Board was replaced by the Adoption Authority in early November, voluntary adoption agencies lost the accreditation they had, leaving some people who were going through the system in apparent limbo.
