AdaptiveMobile raises $14m in funding round

AdaptiveMobile, a Dublin software firm, has raised $14 million (€10.5 million) in funding, in one of the biggest investments in an Irish technology company this year.

AdaptiveMobile, a Dublin software firm, has raised $14 million (€10.5 million) in funding, in one of the biggest investments in an Irish technology company this year.

The funding round was led by Doughty Hanson, the venture capital firm that has invested in TV3 and Irish technology companies including nanotechnology firm Ntera. Noor Financial Investment Company, a Kuwaiti investment firm, and Intel Capital, the funding unit of the computer chip maker, also backed AdaptiveMobile.
