ACC Bank has commissioned a number of expert reports designed to cast doubt on a proposed rescue plan for the Fleming Group, the Cork building and development group in examinership with debts of €1 billion.

The Dutch-owned bank, which has adopted an aggressive approach to its Irish loan book, has hired a number of accountants to write papers opposing the company’s proposed rescue package.
