Abtran wins €2m SEI deal

Outsourcing firm Abtran has secured a €2 million contract with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) to manage elements of the new Building Energy Rating (BER) scheme.

Outsourcing firm Abtran has secured a €2 million contract with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) to manage elements of the new Building Energy Rating (BER) scheme.

The scheme calculates the energy performance of buildings using SEI-approved procedures, systems and methods. SEI will assemble a panel of registered assessors to provide services nationwide.

Under the terms of its three-year deal with Abtran, the Cork-based provider will manage the registration process for these assessors, processing applications and payments...
