C&C, which acquired the rights to produce and sell cider under the brand name Bulmers in the Republic of Ireland, now faces new competition in Britain from none other than Bulmers.

Because Bulmers already existed as a brand in Britain, C&C trades in that market under the brand Magners, named after the estate in Clonmel in which Bulmers/Magners is produced.
