If Alison Cowzer has her way, we will soon be associating Haiti with mangoes, rum, stunning beaches and an attractive enterprise environment, as opposed to gang violence, cholera and a country ravaged by a devastating earthquake.

Over the past 15months she has been in and out of meetings with senior figures from the World Bank, the Inter American Development Bank (IDB), the Organisation of American States (OAS) and the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, among others....
