There were 140 new schemes on the market in 2014. Last year, that increased to 215 and 2016 has started with some 193 new schemes for sale around the country.

If the number of new homes schemes on the market is anything to go by, the housing sector is making a strong recovery, albeit from a very low base. And it’s not just in Dublin, but nationwide.
