Some 95 per cent of Irish retailers believe that the introduction of the household tax will have a negative impact on their business.
Some 95 per cent of Irish retailers believe that the introduction of the household tax will have a negative impact on their business, according to a survey carried out by Retail Excellence Ireland.
Forty-seven per cent said they expected a minor effect on consumer demand, and a further 48 per cent said they expected the impact to be major. Just 5 per cent of respondents anticipated no effect.
