€7m windfall for Drover owners

The four owners of Drover Foods, a Co Wexford meat processor, are set to share between €5 million and €7 million from the sale of the business.

The four owners of Drover Foods, a Co Wexford meat processor, are set to share between €5 million and €7 million from the sale of the business.

Drover, which makes and distributes cooked meats and sausages, has been bought by Gorey businessman Pat Smyth.

The acquisition was completed early last week after months of talks.
