Two Irish venture capital funders have defied the economic gloom and raised a €70 million fund to invest in life sciences companies. Dublin-based Seroba Bio Ventures and Kernel Capital Partners, a Cork funder, have joined forces on the new fund, which was closed in recent weeks and will be launched shortly. It is backed by Enterprise Ireland and several large institutional investors.
