AIB is facing a €64.7 million legal action by an Irish business over a ''cracked'' mortgage title which led to a failed property deal, resulting in financial ruin for an Irish business.

Rosbeg Partners, which is owned by businessman Bob Stewart, is suing AIB claiming that it was responsible, along with law firm LK Shields, over a failure to register the firm's mortgage title over a property in County Dublin in the Land Registry.
