Alejandro Fernandez is the owner of not one, but two, revolutionary Spanish wineries, Tinto Pesquera, and Condado de Haza. These wineries effectively founded the entire modern Ribera del Duero region. Of course the legendary Vega Sicilia was there already, but he was making a timeless, €265 a bottle epic for ageing in aristocratic cellars.
