3 wines to try, buy and put by

A superb, meaty Champagne, a fragrant, linear Riesling and a classic in the making from Rioja.

17th February, 2013
Beaumont des Crayères Grande Réserve NV Champagne.

TO TRY

Beamont des Crayères Champagne is a rare thing, a Grande Marque quality Champagne owned not by a billionaire or a multinational luxury goods company, but rather by a genuine village collective.

It was founded in the early 1950s by the farmers from a small village called Mardeuil, just outside the capital of Champagne production, Épernay.
