The noble family of Rizzardi have been making wine in their castles in Valpolicella since 1678. The original Count Rizzardi also created beautiful formal gardens, meaning the sculptural nature of the vineyards is no accident. The wine here too, a Ripasso, is not an easy accident of nature; it is a meticulous creation perfected by Masi in the 1960s.
