€3 billion worth of commercial property deals predicted for 2016

Fewer transactions than previous years as deleveraging winds down

This year’s commercial property market is expected to see more than 200 transactions in the million plus price range and achieve around €3 billion worth of deals.

With supply from banks such as Lloyds and Ulster practically exhausted over the last three years, sales activity is expected to receive a boost from the work-outs by some of the loan and portfolio buyers who will accelerate disposals of non-core assets.
