Ross signed off on posts for 61 judges

Shane Ross has signed off on the appointment of 61 judges under the system that he wants to scrap.

The Minister for Transport secured a commitment in the Programme for Government four years ago to overhaul the system of appointing judges by setting up a new body having a majority of lay people.
